{"id":4220,"date":"2023-12-07T12:14:59","date_gmt":"2023-12-07T18:14:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eco-ouest.com\/?post_type=newsroom-events&#038;p=4220"},"modified":"2023-12-07T12:19:26","modified_gmt":"2023-12-07T18:19:26","slug":"planning-and-design-projects-infrastructure-canadas-rural-transit-solutions-fund","status":"publish","type":"newsroom-events","link":"https:\/\/eco-ouest.com\/newsroom-events\/planning-and-design-projects-infrastructure-canadas-rural-transit-solutions-fund\/","title":{"rendered":"Planning and Design Projects: Infrastructure Canada\u2019s Rural Transit Solutions Fund"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Rural Transit Solutions Fund is the first federal fund to target the development of transit solutions in rural and remote communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eligible applicants can seek a grant of up to $50,000 to support communities\u2019 projects to plan and design new or expanded transit solutions for their communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Who can apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Municipalities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>local and regional governments established under provincial or territorial statute, including local service districts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Federally or provincially incorporated not-for-profit organizations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>And more<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eligible projects include:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>public engagement<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>needs assessments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>feasibility or viability studies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>surveys and assessments of routes or modes of travel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Applications are currently being accepted.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-buttons-is-layout-1 wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-white-color has-light-green-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/www.infrastructure.gc.ca\/rural-trans-rural\/index-eng.html\" style=\"border-radius:0px\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">LEARN MORE<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Infrastructure Canada will be hosting a series of webinars for potential applicants.
