Discover Our Bilingual Magazine – The Momentum is There: Looking to the Future with the AMBM Group

I am pleased to share with you the electronic version of the brand-new magazine The Momentum is There: Looking to the Future with the AMBM Group (Spring 2025), published in both official languages.

This magazine celebrates the leadership and innovative spirit of Manitoba’s bilingual municipalities—members of the AMBM—who stand out for their ability to plan, welcome, and manage sustainable growth with a forward-looking vision.

It also highlights the strategic role of the AMBM Group—comprising the AMBM, the Economic Development Council for Manitoba Bilingual Municipalities (CDEM), and Eco-West Canada (EWC)—as a catalyst for prosperity, economic development, and sustainability at the heart of our bilingual communities.

Through inspiring testimonials, concrete projects, and exemplary partnerships, the magazine sheds light on the very real challenges of growth—housing, infrastructure, Francophone and bilingual economic immigration—while demonstrating that our municipalities have the solutions, provided they are equipped with the necessary tools and resources to implement them.

It also sends a powerful message to other orders of government: to fully invest in the strengths of our bilingual communities to build a more prosperous and inclusive Manitoba and Canada.
