Call for Projects: Wildfire Resilient Infrastructure

With wildfire risks on the rise across Canada, the Climate Ready Infrastructure Service (CRIS) has launched a new stream of support to help local governments and Indigenous communities make public buildings safer and more resilient.

OFFER:  $20,000 of free expert consulting support

Eligible organizations:

• Serving a population size under or around 30,000 people
• Municipalities
• First Nations, Inuit and Métis governments and communities
• Non-profit organizations that own and operate municipal infrastructure

Projects to apply for include:

• Community or recreation centres
• Libraries and arts or cultural buildings
• Administrative buildings and civic centres
• and more!

Application deadline: August 31, 2025.
